Finance Analyst Worldwide Operations

  • Provide full Business Partnering for Overseas Customer Service for Europe, APAC, MESA & Africa
  • Work closely with the RCSMs to assist with all financial related queries, including: understanding monthly financial performance, preparation of business cases and ad-hoc analysis
  • Deliver robust financial reporting to the Customer Service Recovery & Regions Manager and the Director of Worldwide Operations
  • Support business cases which facilitate key investment decisions and take advantage of opportunities to lower the cost base
  • Assist in the preparation of the Aer Lingus Cargo financial results, including working with the Director or Ireland Operations and FBP / SFBP of Worldwide Operations on business critical ad-hoc projects
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for cost reduction improvement in a fast moving commercial environment
  • Prepare and track both Business Plans and Financial Plans (includes budgeting, planning and forecasting)
  • Provide ‘well packaged’ comprehensive, management accounting and reporting to the business. Includes: business case tracking (costs and benefits), financial analytics based on an insightful understanding of an internationally diverse portfolio of ground handling and supporting costs

Key Skills & Experience

  • Educated to degree level
  • Professional finance qualification such as CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CA
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience of using MS Office with strong Excel skills
