Assistant Athletic Trainer
Description of Work
Assist with athletic training room operations for the University of Nebraska Athletic Department. Provide prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to student athletes in the sport of Football, including practice and game coverage, and any required travel. Required to travel with the team which will involve working long hours, nights, weekends, some holidays.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s plus two years relevant experience required. Board of Certification ( BOC)/National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) certification and ability to obtain Nebraska State licensure required. Emergency response certification (CPR, basic life support) necessary. Excellent interpersonal communication skills essential.
Previous experience providing treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to Football student athletes in a Division I program preferred. UNL Athletics work experience a plus. BFR (Blood Flow Restriction) certification preferred.
