Position Description

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions seeks to employ a student-centered profession to serve as the Assistant Director for Transfer and Adult Services. The primary functions of this position are to assist in the development, implementation and assessment of services and programs for transfer and adult students. This position will be responsible for all electronic and print communications, creativity and marketing solutions are desired skills. The Assistant Director will assist with coordinating the recruitment of transfer students and review/adjudicate applicants for admission. This position advises, counsels and connects prospective students with a variety of resources on campus including Financial Aid, Housing, and advising. The Assistant Director will also administer our Guaranteed Transfer Scholarship. This position will directly supervise two admission counselors, previous supervision experience is preferred but not required. The Assistant Director will serve as the primary representative of the Office of the Transfer and Adult Services in the absence of the Associate Director. Preferred candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
