SeaWorld is a United States chain of marine mammal parks, oceanariums, animal theme parks, and rehabilitation centers owned by SeaWorld Entertainment (one park will be owned and operated by Miral under a license). The parks feature killer whale, sea lion, and dolphin shows and zoological displays featuring various other marine animals. There are operations located within the United States in Orlando, Florida; San Diego, California; San Antonio, Texas; later outside the United States such as Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and previously Aurora, Ohio.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is looking for candidates to join our Culinary team in the Production Bakery. Our bakery produces scratch made breads, cookies, muffins, specialty desserts and cakes for both Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA. Candidates selected for this position will have the opportunity to gain experience and learn throughout our bakery in the bread, cake, and decorating stations. Working alongside a dedicated hard working professional team you will learn to master a variety of skills such as scaling, mixing, panning, baking, packaging, and decorating. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and willing to work early mornings, as early as 5:30 am.

Kitchen Prep Cook

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have at least 6 months restaurant cooking experience or the combination of one year restaurant cooking experience and Culinary School
  • Must possess basic knife skills
  • Work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
  • Complete and be in compliance with all training including ServSafe and RCS Responsible Vendor (alcohol) Training
  • Must pass the Food Safety test and annual renewals of the test.
  • Ability to climb/ascend heights of up to 6’
  • Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Perform tasks that require frequent; bending from waist to floor, kneeling, squatting, simple hand grasping work, overhead work and fine manipulation (use of computer/writing)
  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift
  • Culinary Operations team members must wear solid black slip and oil resistant safety shoes. Shoes are not provided by the Company, and will need to be worn on your first Culinary training class.

Shallow Water Attendant;

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Applicants that have been previously certified through American Red Cross or another organization will be tested on all water rescue, first aid, CPR, and spinal management skills prior to working a position regardless of experience or current certification.
  • Lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 lbs. on a frequent basis with no assistance
  • Must be able to push, pull, and carry 150 plus pounds in water.
  • Communicate effectively with ambassadors and guests
  • Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of weather conditions
  • Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis: stand, walk, climb, bend floor- to- waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks
  • Perform all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
  • Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Shallow Water Guards must be able to pass American Red Cross swim test consisting of: 100 yd continuous swim (un-timed) demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing. Utilizing the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. Swimming on the back or side is not permitted. Swim goggles are allowed. Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs. Candidates should place their hands under the arm pits. Complete a timed event within 50 seconds. Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using the front crawl or breast stroke. Face may be in or out of water. Swim goggles are not allowed. Submerge to a depth of 4 to 5 feet to retrieve a 10 pound object. Return to the surface and walk or swim 20 yd to return to the starting point with both hands holding the object at the surface of the water.
