Customer Service Support Rep (Machine Support Coordinator)

This position is a support function of the Machine Support department and Field Operations. The incumbent is responsible for handling a large volume of inbound and outbound phone call requests to complete various forms and strives to provide “one-call resolution” to our internal customers. This candidate will also be responsible for following up with our internal customers to ensure that their calls/email requests are completed in a timely manner.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond professionally to inbound field service oriented calls and emails for assistance with administrative documentation and tasks
  • Use ticket system for tracking customer interactions and problem resolution
  • Monitor dashboards and review reports to appropriately dispatch field service technicians as needed

FSR II (Field Support Technician)

You will use a company vehicle to merchandise, install, repair, and maintain Redbox kiosks within an assigned territory. With input from your supervisor, you will plan and schedule your days, making adjustments as new priorities and tasks arise. You’ll work in an environment where route, daily tasks and weather conditions can change on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs and completes preventative maintenance and independently troubleshoots and repairs kiosks onsite and remotely
  • Monitors daily kiosk performance reports
  • Responds to dispatch calls during scheduled shift between the hours of 8am and 8pm as needed
  • Manages and maintains all kiosk parts, repair tools, merchandising product, and equipment

Head of Games

The Head of Games is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and executing on the overall strategy, content buying and planning, management of game publisher and distributor relationships, and budget and P&L for the Redbox Games business.  Leveraging industry and emerging technology trends, publisher relationships, consumer insights, and internal resources across finance, marketing, and operations, this person must deliver against in-year revenue end EBITDA plans for video games rental and sell-through via the kiosk and other potential platforms.

In order to build this business, this person is responsible for promoting strong relationships with publisher marketing/sales personnel, oversee marketing and promo programs, accurately forecast and execute content buys, and work closely with finance to track the business.  This role will report into the Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer and will manage a small dedicated team working cross functionally to leverage company resources for this developing business.

Key Responsibilities

•Strategic Responsibility:

  • Customer, revenue, and profit growth from video games at kiosk and emerging platforms
  • Title assortment, buy size and allocation, and marketing
  • Own and develop Publisher relationships
  • Category and industry expertise, including digital games

•Executional Responsibility:

  • Accountable for revenue delivery and profitability of the Redbox video game business
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the games business with an expectation of continual optimization and improvement on the business
  • Operationally manage Games business, including both rental, salvage/ secondary market, and sell through (moved from strategic responsibilities)
  • Development and lead the execution of buying and marketing strategies of key strategies/initiatives, including forecasting/decisions on assortment, buy sizes, pricing, and allocation
  • Work closely with and leverage cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution including marketing, consumer insights & research, operations, finance, BI, merchandising, and product.
  • Oversee and provide key input on all marketing programs to drive customer awareness, acquisition, engagement and retention, working closely with marketing, merchandising, and consumer insights teams.
  • Own and execute the strategy for salvage/ secondary market and used game sell through
  • Coordinate with operations team on delivery and allocation of content to kiosks
  • Work with product teams to define product requirements to enhance merchandising, content discovery and delivery.
  • Regular reporting and presentation of the status of the business and strategy to senior executives and broader company.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • 10 years of directly relevant work experience, to include management level roles with major retailers or management consultancies
  • P&L ownership experience is a must
  • Strong operational background in forecasting, buying and allocation with strong attention detail and focus on execution
  • Must have experience in effectively maintaining strategic partnerships ideally with content providers or game publishers
  • Demonstrated success in working collaboratively across functions within complex retail or consulting organization preferred
  • Passion for games and knowledge of the industry

Field Support Rep I (Merchandiser)

In this job, you will use your personal vehicle to maintain an assigned merchandising route, assisting with the maintenance, support and upkeep of Redbox kiosks within an assigned market. You must also be able to store at least 50 cubic feet of company merchandise such as product boxes, marketing materials and cleaning supplies within your personal vehicle and residence. This postion will require you to drive about 1,000 miles per week & work 38 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using personal vehicle, travels to assigned kiosks and collects movies from machines. Keeps daily record of product distributed and removed from each machine (mileage reimbursement provided for miles driven for work tasks and pre-determined routes)
  • Follows a specifically designed daily merchandising route including regular visits to a warehouse location
  • Provides quality customer service through regular interaction and communication with coworkers, external customers, external contractors, store owners/managers and employees
  • Communicates status of kiosks and customer accounts to Regional Operations Supervisor (ROS)
