Summer Direct Support ProfessionalJoin the HSI team as a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will work with youth in the Marshall and surrounding communities making a difference. As a DSP you will support people with varying abilities and disabilities, helping them to achieve what is important to and for them.  

We offer residential services with supports tailored to the needs of each individual, helping them to build their independence, support in the community, maintain and develop relationships.  The people we support are looking for fun, energetic supports to assist them in achieving their dreams.  In this position you will interact with the people, their families, friends and team members.  Everything each of us does everyday is what the people we support are doing to. 

Mental Health Caregiver: This position provides services to people with a broad array of disabilities, whether that be behavioral, physical, or mental health through assistance with activities of daily living, similar to Direct Care Providers and Certified Nursing Assistants, such as: 

  • Errands to shopping or activities
  • Transporting to medical appointments
  • Enjoying recreational outings together
  • Preparing meals
  • Assisting with medication administration
  • Personal hygiene and grooming
  • Bathing and toileting
  • Teaching strategies to live as independently as possible
Direct Support Professional: This position provides services to people with a broad array of disabilities, whether that be behavioral, physical, or mental health through assistance with activities of daily living, similar to Caregivers, Direct Care Providers and Certified Nursing Assistants, such as:
