About Norwegian

Norwegian started long haul operations in 2013 using the innovative Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Their expansion plans utilising the Boeing 787 “Dreamliner” are well down the track with the company now operating seven 787-8 and one more will be delivered in 2015. That will be Norwegian’s final aircraft of this model before ist changes over to the bigger 787-9. Four will join the fleet in 2016. Plans for 2017 includes delivery of three 787-9 and in 2018 another two will join the fleet bringing the total number of 787s to seventeen.

Established 1993, Norwegian is the second largest airline in Scandinavia, servicing over 350 routes to 121 destinations in 30 countries across Europe into North Africa and the Middle East. Norwegian has experienced significant growth over the previous years, combining a viable pricing model and customer oriented focus. With the introduction of “the long haul revolution” utilising Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, Norwegian now operates flights to Bangkok, Bergen, Copenhagen, Fort Lauderdale, London, Los Angeles, New York, Oakland, Orlando, Oslo and Stockholm.

The Opportunity

Minimum requirements for Norwegian B787 Dreamliner pilot jobs are:

  • JAA license
  • JAA medical Class one
  • Current on B777, B767, B757, B747-400 or B737-3/900
  • Under 61 years old at time of application
  • Preference will be given to pilots with long haul experience, especially on the Boeing B777.
