Hotel Operations, led by the Hotel Director, is made up of multiple departments comprised of more than 100 different positions. Whether the crew is working with children or setting the stage for world-class entertainment productions, the work they do adds a fun and magical element to our voyages. Marine & Technical Operations (MTO) is made up of two departments: Deck and Engineering. The Deck department is led by the Staff Captain and includes more than 35 different positions, and the Engineering department is led by the Chief Engineer and includes more than 40 positions. Both teams work together to safely navigate the ship and maintain onboard facilities. These departments also ensure the United States Public Health (USPH) and Disney standards of cleanliness are maintained, and that our ships remain in pristine condition for our guests to enjoy.


Takes charge of the onboarding, training, and development of our entire team, from crew to officers. Leverages HR knowledge to develop learning content, coach crew members, facilitate presentations, and onboard every member of our crew. Works closely with multiple HR teams, both shipboard and shore side, as well as officers aboard the ships. The Learning and Development Manager has a direct impact on our crew members’ experience and on cementing our status as one of the most sought-after employers in the cruise line industry.
