California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) receives application for open positions almost every season: some of the positions require experience and deeper knowledge in the specific area whereas the rest can be applied by unexperienced employees as well. Hosting employees start with minimum wage and works part time.

Bartender – most locations of California Pizza Kitchen have bars with experienced, positive and sociable bartenders who serve, prepare drinks and take payments. In addition, bar cleanliness is tresponsibility of bartenders and sometimes customers may order from them. Thus they need to know the menu and specials. Bartenders can work full time or part time and must be at least 21 years old with formal certification from third-party sources. No experience needed to get hired but it may bring more hiring consideration. Payments vary from minimum wage to 10 dollars an hour. Bartenders also earn tips as well.

Facilities and Equipment Technician – Ensures maximum efficient operations of facilities and equipment, as well as the care of all grounds and support equipment. Responsible for Preventative Maintenance Programs including the review and evaluation of its cost effectiveness and performance. Resolve facilities related problems and manage corrective construction and remodels. Will assist with maintaining daily operations of the physical facilities. Supports by performing “handyman” maintenance duties such electrical projects, spot painting and/or cleaning, plumbing, light construction and/or exterior cleanup.
