Service Technician Education Program
In 1996, BMW of North America established the Service Technician Education Program (STEP) to address the need for new technicians at BMW dealerships in North America. STEP is a scholarship that is awarded to top graduates of automotive postsecondary schools. Each year, STEP graduates over 150 highly skilled technicians from the most respected and intense training program of its kind in the world.

Internships

6 Months Internship Program
The 6 Months Internship Program can truly add to your field of study and personal growth. The 6 months internship program gives the student the opportunity to gain real world experience by performing business tasks and working on a diversity of projects. Additionally, the student gets the chance to develop a mentor relationship. This program focuses on domestic as well as international students who are currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Degree or are in the Gap-Year between Bachelor and Master. Please note that all applications should reach the staffing team at least six months prior to the intern’s desired start date.

3 Months Internship Program
The 3 months internship program is designated for domestic students as well as for international students. The 12-week internship program begins in May and continues through August. The 3 months internship program gives the student the opportunity to gain real world experience by performing business tasks and working on a diversity of projects. Additionally, the student gets the chance to develop a mentor relationship. In order to be considered for this program you need to currently be enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Degree or be in the Gap-Year between Bachelor and Master.
